The practice can be helpful in streamlining one’s life to the best of its possibilities irrespective of the field and course of life.  The understanding of Yoga in the western world is upholds the physical practice in many variations, and for some the spiritual aspects are upheld.

However, yoga in India considers the spiritual and mental realms of the practice, to deepen its effects on a practitioner’s life. Yoga in India is more orthodox in it’s practice, rooting back 10,000 years. Most of the population consider the practice of Yoga part of everyday life.
